Curriculum Planning and Preparation

• Develop and implement effective annual and term planning.
• Prepare schemes of work aligned to curriculum requirements.
• Differentiate learning materials to accommodate various learner needs.
• Stay abreast of curriculum developments and teaching methodologies. ***url*** />

Classroom Management

• Establish a positive and structured learning environment.
• Manage learner behaviour and promote respectful classroom practices.
• Build meaningful relationships with learners and parents.
• Communicate effectively regarding learner progress and school activities. ***url*** />

Assessment and Academic Administration

• Set, moderate, invigilate, mark, and record assessments.
• Maintain accurate learner records and academic data.
• Prepare revision materials, notes, and learner support resources.
• Monitor homework and learner academic progress. ***url*** />

Teaching and Learning

• Deliver engaging and innovative lessons.
• Foster academic achievement and continuous improvement.
• Utilise modern teaching tools and technology effectively.
• Promote a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.
• Support and mentor learners academically and personally. ***url*** />

Extramural Involvement

• Participate in and support assigned sport and cultural activities.
• Attend school functions, meetings, and events.

Learner Support

• Facilitate extra lessons and academic interventions where required.
• Provide individual learner support and remedial assistance.
• Identify learners requiring additional academic support and guidance.

• B.Ed., B.A., B.Sc. or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). ***url*** />
• Honours degree in the relevant teaching field will be advantageous. ***url*** />
• Valid teacher registration. ***url*** />
• Minimum of 2 years\' experience teaching at Senior Phase level.
